Great renovations..bet you will love it...
-
Thanks, Wren and Lisa. It sounds like blue is a popular colour for decorating.

Chehuly sculpture, Atlanta Botanical Gardens
Wish I was here....
-
Yoga, nice sculpture - I like the blue and the swirls.
JO-5, thanks. I bought the house in December and then organised the renovations. We have put some rugs down but the carpet situation hasn't changed apart from that. We will get the old rental house carpets steam cleaned and we want to ask them for advice about the new carpet. Also, we used to be able to hire carpet cleaning machines at the local supermarkets but we haven't seen them for a long time, so we plan to look into that after Easter. It's my birthday today - the 13th.
-
Aussie, your renovations are so nice!! It feels so good to have changes that turn out like we hoped!!
-
DH’s recent photo of flowering cherry in our backyard. Happy to see the bee!!
-
Aussie, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
-
Thank you for the pictures everyone. Bored here in Ohio with a cool week of temperatures while kids on spring break from exhausting distance learning. Teachers are amazing! I sure hope some public gardens open up this summer but will settle for our wonderful Governor and Metroparks staying open (Thank heavens!!!) Stay safe and keep those pictures coming!

Yoga, love your fountain photo. Great capture by your DH with a bee in flight. Flowering cherry is beautiful.
Lisa, what a pretty scene. I would love to be there right now!
-
-
Lisa, stunning!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Cathy!!
Nancy, how are you feeling?
-
Wren, Nancy and Yoga, thank you for the birthday wishes. I appreciate it!
Nancy, thank you for that lovely birthday picture. I will get a print screen of it and keep it.
Lisa, lovely photo.

Amazon photos puts them together
-
Yoga, I am doing okay. It is mainly my sinuses not draining which is draining on me! How about you?
Cathy, I am glad you enjoyed your card.
Lisa, I had no idea that Amazon was in the photo business but why should I be surprised............they have everything you can imagine and more. Beautiful and colorful collage.
-
Nancy, glad you are feeling better. That sinus drainage is a pain....and disgusting! Myhead is still a little tender to the touch but healing well.
-
Yoga, glad you are healing well. My problem is my sinuses are NOT draining like they should. I really want to avoid surgery. I have had that in the past and really hoping they will drain naturally. Today was our second coldest of the year. Go figure!!
-
yikes, Nancy! You are right!! Blocked sinuses are terrible! I hope you get some relief soon.
-
Thanks Yoga. I hope we both feel better.
Come take a hike with me in this pine forest.
-
so peaceful!!
-
Nancy, I'd love to go on a hike with you in a peaceful forest. I hope you feel better soon. I know it's frustrating being unwell for so long.
-
-
What a cutie!
Cathy, the thing I am most concerned about is the possibility of needing surgery on my sinuses. I would not want to be any where near a hospital now. I do have to have blood work soon for my annual physical which my doctor wants me to keep my May 1 apt. At least I have already been to see him and it seemed pretty safe with all the staff screening everyone as they walk into the clinic.
-
Nancy, I really hope you don't need surgery on your sinuses. I think your May 1 appointment should be safe though because they are taking so many precautions now. You would have less chance of catching any flu in a waiting room than in other years. I know medical situations are especially anxiety producing at the moment, so may God give you peace.

Lisa, that's a lovely, peaceful river.
-
Thanks Cathy. I have had a couple of days of feeling bed and yesterday I felt much better. Today I am doing okay but I am still stuffed up. It is nice and sunny here today after having snow for a couple of days so that is very uplifting. I hope you are settling in nicely to your new house.
Lisa, such a great photo. It takes you right in and down that river. Our county has left the forest preserves open but the one with the waterfall which I have posted pics of before is closed because too many people were flocking to that one and in tight quarters. The forest preserves that I have done the monthly photo contests closed weeks ago but they are having a backyard photo contest until we can open up again. I have a tiny bunny I have been trying to get some good pics. It has now discovered my front yard and is eating my daffodils. I have had a real battle with a robin (I think) who is bound and determined to build a nest over my front porch light. We have gone through this ritual for days of the mystery bird building a nest and me coming out and taking it down. I finally had a chat with this robin who saw I had torn down the nest twice yesterday. It had a few choice words for me and I said I am sorry!!!!! Hope none of the neighbors saw me talking to this upset bird. I did take the nesting material and put a plastic bowl in one of my bushes to see if they would build in there. So far not happening. My Dad used to clip a small butter tub in the corner of their awnings and every year a finch family would nest. It was fun watching them.
Have a nice weekend everyone.
-
Nancy, I'm sorry you had to stay in bed and I hope you feel so much better after this! I hope you get to take some enjoyable pictures and your bunny sounds cute! I hope the robin chooses a better place to build a nest!
We are slowly settling into the new house. I got the carpets steam cleaned and my feet feel a lot better, so that's a relief. I'm sure a lot of chemicals were sucked out of the carpet but my feet still get a bit irritated at times.
