What does this mean for me? This information is provided on the surgical pathology addendum report.

I am ramping up for Thursday appointment with MO and getting very anxious.

Will they draw blood for oncotype at this appointment? Will hormone med be prescribed prior to knowing oncotype score?

    I am not sure what your scores mean, but the Oncotype is not a blood draw. It is done from a sample of your tumor. You probably will discuss hormonal therapy, but I did not start mine until we received Oncotype. However, with the delays that might happen due to Covid, they may suggest you start now. It sounds like you had a small tumor, so that is a plus.

    I did not know that about the Oncotype-I appreciate the information. I felt such relief to meet my BS and to have the surgery scheduled. But now it all feels like limbo...
