Bump or pimple under scar?

Yesterday, I felt a sore spot right at the edge of my mx scar (at the center/sternum). I can feel a little spherical lump when I press on the scar line, on the small side (baby pea or smaller).

I am hoping this is just a clogged pore. I see my PCP Thursday and have my 6-mo check up with my surgeon next week, so at least I don't have to wait long.

Anyone have a similar experience?

    I see my PCP tomorrow (sorry, originally thought it was Thursday, but the appointment is Friday). BS next week.

    I'm thinking it's probably just a clogged pore. It was painful and lump-like that first day I noticed it, which is why I was concerned, but the area is much less sensitive now. I'll still have them take a look.

    I feel lucky that the appointments were already made so I didn't have to question whether it was worth a check up.

    I saw the breast surgeon for my regular check-up and she didn't think it was a recurrence, so I'll just make sure it heals up.

    Keep an eye on it and take pictures every day or so; it will allow you to compare to see if it is changing.

    Thank you. I did and will. I have so many scary pictures of my chest - in various stages of diagnosis and surgery - on my phone. :)

    It is a great tip to snap photos so you can show your doctor what you're talking about.
