The Next Person Game
Comments
-
Ruth, I'm sorry you had to cancel your trip to Arizona.
I don't think so.
The next person has been watching TV.
-
Too much!
The next person is going out for a walk!
-
No, it's the middle of the night.
The next person has too much to do.
-
Yes, it seems like I always do. Though, right now it seems like everything is closed, cancelled or postponed so I'm not able to do the things I need to.
The next person has had something cancelled or anticipates having something cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus.
-
Let's see, all face to face church activities, my breast cancer support group, and the first confirmed case in my county was just announced today so on it goes...
The next person is glad to have lots of soap on hand.
-
True & I just ordered more on Amazon (since I can't get any of the germ killing type in my town, totally sold out in every store).
The next person will probably be crazy if this goes on too long!
-
I hope not!! I'm trying to distance and look at this time as a unique type of retreat!
The next person is catching up on their to-be-read pile while distancing!!
-
True! And some sewing projects too.
The next person has completed their 2020 Census (American edition).
-
No, I'm not in America. We didn't fill out our last census because it wasn't going to be anonymous.
The next person knows someone with Coronavirus. I don't.
-
Nope
The next person reconnected with an old family friend recently
-
No
The next person goes on Facebook.
-
Not on a regular basis. Too much invasion of my privacy!!
The next person likes to do jigsaw puzzles. I started one yesterday!
-
I haven't done a jigsaw for a long time but I quite like doing them
The next person likes to do cross stitch.
-
Not unless it’s stamped with a pattern
The next person is ordering some craft supplies today.
-
No, I hadn't thought of doing that but it sounds like a good idea.
The next person is still working and has not been quarantined because of COVID-19. (That describes me currently.)
-
I'm not working but I'm not quarantined. A lot of things have changed in Melbourne this week though.
The next person isn't having much contact with people at the moment.
-
true (just the hubby and the kitties)
The next person is so bored they resorted to desperation cleaning
-
No, but I should! I have enough books, crafts, and puzzles to keep me busy without having to do cleaning or decluttering even though my house needs it!
The next person, even though practicing physical distancing now, took a car ride just to get out of the house!!
-
No, I'm still working so it's business as usual for me. So I've had a daily car ride to work. Lol And I did start cleaning a room last week and plan on working on it some more this weekend.
The next person is ready for life to go back to normal.
-
I think a lot of our "normal" things will be forever changed. Probably for the good!! I would like to get back to routine however!!
The next person spends too much time online!
-
I wouldn't say I spend too much time online, although I do spend quite a lot of time on my computer.
The next person is glad that we can keep in touch online.
-
Yes, I do! There are friends I have online that I wouldn't get to talk to otherwise. You being one of those, Aussie!
The next person likes having friends in other parts of the world.
-
Yes I certainly do, especially you Ocean!!
The next person is going to stay home on weekends.
-
Thank you, Aussie! That's very sweet of you!
Yes, I do plan on staying home this weekend and doing some sorting and cleaning.
The next person has some sorting and cleaning to do.
-
Always, and especially since I'm planning to move house soon.
The next person would like to have a rest.
-
Very much so!!
The next person has ordered from their favorite Chinese restaurant(s) to show support and solidarity.
Not sure if Australia has gone this far yet, but in Colorado all restaurants have been ordered to close their dining areas. Most places are still doing curb-side pickup and deliveries, though.
-
I don't know of any good Chinese restaurants around here. People are staying away from restaurants but I'm not sure if they're closing - I think it depends how many people they seat and how crowded they would be.
The next person isn't sure what to buy to prepare for not being able to shop much.
-
I used to buy just what I needed for a few days and now I'm buying more than usual when I do go shopping.
the next person has a member of her family out of the country (my niece is in Mexico & has a ticket to come home Sunday, I sure hope she makes it!)
-
Ruth, I hope she gets back soon!
My aunt just got home from Europe and she had to cut her trip short.
The next person has had to cancel her plans.
-
Many cancelled--appointments, meetings, restaurants, churches, and many stories closed or shortening hours because of COVID, unfortunately.
The next person is already sick of the big companies on TV advertising that "in light of the current crisis we are there for you," like I'm going to go out and buy a car or new furniture right now!!!
