Sexy post-surgery bras?
Hi pretty ladies,
I am almost 4 weeks post BMX and am told to wear this surgical bra, or a similar moderate-compression sports bra, for the next 6 weeks. Anyone have any suggestions for some that look decent? Or even, dare I say, attractive? Thanks!

Scoop - there is a Bras 101 thread that isn't particularly active but has some good ideas. Nordstroms has trained bra fitters if you make an appointment.
I stick with the WearEase Sydney bra. It had a nice low "V" in the front but come up high enough under the arms and in the back to counteract LE. It's comfortable to wear 24/7 & dries quickly when washed. The ladies at the plant are great at helping you pick the size you need. Woman owned company - made in the USA.
If you buy the fushia color, you can also wear as a sports bra. I use if for water aerobics.

Edited to say, I know this isn't particularly sexy, but it sure works.

If you search for "bralettes" you might find some nice stuff. They don't have underwires, and tend to be more attractive than a sports bra.
I found some nice bralettes by a brand called Honeydew, and also some by Torrid. A brand called Anaono makes breast cancer specific stuff too. Best wishes for your recovery!

hi! Try www.anaono.com

anaono makes very nice bras and they are covered by insurance (if you've met your deductable) I was able to get 3 or 4 for $30 copay. They are the most comfortable bras I've ever owned. My favorite is the Monica, although it's not necessarily sexy. I liked it because after my initial DIEP my breasts were very small and what used to be cleavage was skin on ribs, so I couldn't wear anything low cut and wanted to be able to use some fillers. I also have the Delilah and a lace one I don't see on their website anymore. Cant remember what it's called.
I'll order a few more after I know what my final size/shape will be. I just had fat grafting - fingers crossed that the fat takes!

Have you looked at Jodee post mastectomy bras?
Jodee.com
I still sleep in my zip front ones I used post surgery. Super comfy. If you check out their website, they have tons of styles that look cuter and may work for you.
Good luck!!

H& M has cute no-wire bras. Nordstrom rack online also has a bunch.

Thanks for all the tips! Just trying to feel a little sexy still, and these TE rocket boobs just aren't doing it on their own...
