Hello everyone.

just received diagnosis yesterday, invasive lobular in my right breast

Ultrasound shows about 2.5 cm but since lobular grows in tentacles, still have to have an MRI to determine size because of this, when my hubby asked about staging, she said well for now we’ll say 2ish until we know more from the MRI.

Consultant says MRI, results a week later, then some sort of surgery a week or 2 max after that

I’ve also been having a “fullness” on my right side and on and off tender ribs so I’m concerned, of course, that it’s already spread

I’m an American living in ireland but still have my US insurance and happen to be heading there this weekend for a 2 week visit which will delay my MRI here but I will probably try to get one in the states although I’m not sure what kind of doctor to look for an appointment with. Consultant here will give me a copy of my records and reports before we head to the US.
