msphil is a longtime member of BCO who wrote a book many years ago about her BC experience. I checked the book out a couple years ago myself and recommended it to a friend. Her post isn't spam but rather self-promotion of her book. It's not much different than promoting our personal blogs and websites (mine was in my signature line for years)
Edited for spelling. Too early, no coffee

Okay. I thought there was a rule against self-promoting any product on here though. If I misinterpreted that, I apologize.
-
Alice - I too thought there was a rule against "selling"/promoting products on BCO. And that's what she says "see if anyone would buy...." Strange.

ok ladies I was just letting others know about my book that not only gives donations to American Cancer Society but also because I women called me back when I first wrote it and she was from Iowa said the book gave her such Inspiration.. I'm comfortable financially Thank God since retiring just thought it could also Inspire others. God Bless Us All. Lets believe in each others journey. msphil Mrs Alexander

Thank You NANCYHB so glad you get what I was trying to do I 've been here forever to help and Inspire even when others don't return when they get thru this trying time. I pray for those here who are Negative for it will hurt you in the long run we here should support each other always. God help them. msphil idc stage2 0/3nodes 3mo chemo before and after Lmast then got married to my wonderful husband who encouraged me to write the book to help others get thru this tough time with Inspiration from my story. We were planning when diagnosed been thru a lot even heart problems due to treatment. But am so good for yrs now then 7wks rads and 5yrs on Tamoxifen. Then Honeymoon in Mountains . My message is that with Hope and Positivity You Too can get thru this. I'm a example my book tells the whole story is why I mentioned it. I'm here for those who want to be Positive.🙏

Links to personal blogs/websites are free. I would prefer if msphil were more clear in her OP that it's her book she wants us to buy.
While I personally try to find positive thoughts, I'm a curmudgeon. Negativity did not cause my cancer. I'm related to the most negative people I know, and they're still alive and 30 years older than me.
I wasn't going to post a reply, but now that she's bumped it up, I had to look up her book. It is available on Amazon for $16. Her book is under 100 pages, and it was self published in 2009. There is 1 customer review from 2015 where she gave herself 4 stars. For that reason alone, I would not purchase her book. Given that she is promoting her own self-published book, I am not interested because it might be written in the same style as her OP. Not being negative, just evaluating the writing sample and found it didn't flow. (I do not claim to be a writer and have nothing to sell.)

I'm with you Serenity. I definitely have a more realistic outlook on life. If cancer were caused by negativity then I would have gotten it much earlier than age 56 and would be riddled with it currently.

God help you who don't believe Negativity can have effect on health I will continue to pray for you. I'm bigger than going back and forth. Will keep you in prayer. msphil. idc stage2 0/3 nodes was diagnosed while making wedding plans 3mo chemo before and after Lmast got married then 7wks rads and 5yrs on Tamoxifen. Take care to All.
