Radiation and Chemo at same time

My husband asked me if chemo and radiation could be done at the same time. I did a search but it didn't help much. Not sure when I'm going to start either one. Thanks

Agree, not typically, both can be hard on you. Some ladies work during treatment, others are too wiped out, need time to recoup.

I just visited my RO today for the first time and he said chemo then radiation. My Oncotype DX says chemo no benefit for me, but we’ll see. For some reason I thought it would be radiation first. If I have to do chemo this will just push the end of this marathon back even further, because my PS says no implant exchange until 6 months after the end of radiation. I feel like I’m trapped in a never ending nightmare and I was just diagnosed in December. It just keeps getting longer and longer with no end in sight

Yes it is a long road. I am here for you. I haven't started my chemo or radiation yet. Not sure which one will come first. You can do this.
