Hi Rainbow, no one knows how long anyone will survive. We don't have expiration dates.

It will totally depend on how you respond to treatment. Also what kind of breast cancer you have. HER2+ ladies have a lot of options. ER+ ladies have all the hormonals they can take. Triple negative ladies have immunotherapy.

The best of luck to you.

We don't know how long for any of us, and many oncologists don't say anymore because it depends on treatment, support, stubbornness, and so much more.

I have mets to to bone, lungs, and more recently brain and now liver. Gemzar is treating all the body mets, and I had one cycle of brain rads (didn't eliminate them but they have shrunk a lot or are stable). I am tired all the time but doing the best I can. Spirit is keeping me here for now, so I am focusing on life.

Before the brain mets I lived fairly normally for several years. Take time to readjust and form a plan, and try to trust that it's all okay.
