lung met :(
almost exactly 26 months after my original diagnosis, I found out I have a large mass in my lung and another in my axilla
emotionally I'm numb. physically, my whole body hurts - I'm just sore all over from the despair.
abdominal CT today. still waiting to hear about scheduling for the biopsy and how big a surgery that will be.
does anyone know - will they biopsy both sites?

Moth, I can't answer your question, but you were diagnosed about nine months before me and so when I was going through chemo, I felt like I got to know you because you were pretty active here at that time. When I was bald, you posted a lovely photo of how much of your blonde hair had grown back, talking about how you had styled it. You had a joyous smile I can still picture in my mind.
I had to tell you that my heart hurts with you.

Moth, it is a terrible shock. When you get a treatment plan I think you will feel less lost. This is not the end. Allow yourself the period of grief and all the other emotions. You will get past it.
If the axilla and lung appeared at the same time, they might only biopsy one. It may depend on how safe it is to do both.
