Great photos, Lisa!
-
Lisa, love these photos!!
-
Nice when birds sit still for a minute
-
Sweet!
-
Do you know what kind of bird this is? I've never seen one before.
-
Nice Lisa.
Wren, I think that is a male American Goldfinch
-
I think it's a goldfinch too. It was in my backyard
-
Thank you. Impressive bird. Also impressive shot.
-
-
Beautiful flowers, Lisa!
-
Lisa, I love yellow roses. Thanks for posting those beauties. I have been so busy but I hope to get out with my camera tomorrow if weather permits.
-
I visited the orchid nursery today. My first photo of 2020.........finally.
This orchid was the most unusual one I had ever seen. I tried to block out all the other distraction.
-
Wow Nancy..love it, a real beauty!
here is a simple iceplant flower today
-
Great photos, Nancy and Lisa!
-
Nancy, that orchid is beautiful. Lisa, I love ice plants!
-
First season for these Lenten roses!!
-
Good photo, Yogatyme!
-
Thanks!
-
Thanks Yoga..what are those plants??
-
Thanks Lisa and Cathy and Yoga.
Cathy, how is the renovation project coming. Those are the things which when finished you are thrilled but in the middle of it, not so much.
Yoga, I wanted to know what those plants are too. They are pretty.
Lisa, I didn't realize what an ice plant is but they are pretty as well.
-
Nancy, we use ice plant here in SoCal on hillsides as ground cover. It helps with erosion and fires. It's jam packed with water.
-
Lisa and Nancy, the flowers are hellebores (common name Lenten Rose). They bloom mid winter- early spring and are such a joy when little else is in bloom. These are the first year we’ve had them so I’m excited to see what they do next year.
-
Mine droop over so it's hard to see the blooms. I should put them in a pot and up on a rail.
-
Wren, I have a different variety that droops, too. Pretty blooms but you have to lift them to see the blossom.
-
-
Oooooh, Lisa!! Beautiful. Love the color.
-
Nancy, thanks for asking about the renovations. It's very hectic and I'm so out of my comfort zone. I will be glad when it's finished. It's true that renovations always cost more and take longer than you expect.
-
AussieCat, truer words have never been spoken. More money, more time for every project!
-
tonight
-
Great photo, Lisa!!
