Burning and bruising

for the past couple of years I had a small bruise on my left breast that has since spread and continues to burn. I had a skin biopsy that came out normal by a dermintologist but I'm scared because I know IBC is often misdiagnosed. I feel like no one is taking me seriously. I need a doctor who believes me. The spot was the size of a dime on the side of my breast and has now spread all the way to the center

    Jlynn - It's better to start only one thread so everyone who answers can follow the story & the history.

    Since you have had a biopsy and it's negative, it's likely not a problem. Still it's hard not to worry. Have you seen a GYN? They should be able to refer you to a breast specialist. Or your dermatologist could also refer you.

    My friend is giving me the number to her breast specialist but I'm scared because I know IBC is so misdiagnosed. also am worried because I has a mammogram and they seen some unevenness and want me to come in for an ultrasound and another mammogram tomorrow. I am paranoid because my breasts are always tender and sore.
