called back

I feel silly even posting because I know others have been dealing with so much more for so long. I had a 3D mammogram last year. Was told I have very dense breast but the results were normal. This past Thursday I had my annual 3D mammogram. They called me the next morning and said I needed to come back in for additional 3D images and ultrasound on my right breast only. I am 43 y/o, had my first child at 34, generally in good health. I've been told not to worry, that lots of people get called back, but that seems very true for baseline mammos? If I had a 3D mammo one year ago at the same place, to be called back would likely mean there's been a change, right?

As an aside, I am also still grieving the loss of my father who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March 2019 and died three weeks later. I had never seen someone decline in health so quickly. I know my anxiety is fueled by this experience.

Thanks for reading. It's helpful just to vomit type.
