blood test showing level of endoxifen (tamoxifen)

Has anyone who is / was taking tamoxifen, had a blood test to show the level of endoxifen? I'd like to get this test done. I'm wondering if anyone has had it done? Any idea of cost (not sure if my insurance will cover it)? Which doctor ordered it?

    I asked my MO about this during my last visit. She said there was no testing available outside of the research setting. So disappointing. I hope someone somewhere will begin to do this testing. Why take a medicine if you are not sure it is being effective for you? Boggles the mind.
