Lymph node after breast biopsy

I had two biopsies in my right breast. One was a papilloma that was removed.

My question is after the biopsy I felt a lump by my lymph node. My surgeon told me it was due to the trauma from the biopsy. Made sense so I didn’t think about it again.
Fast forward a few weeks and I had the papilloma removed. Before surgery I brought up the fact that the lymph node was still swollen. Doc said all was fine.

Three months later lymph node is still swollen. I called the doc office and left message. Doc returned call and said it was normal. Ahould I be concerned?
Thanks

Lymph nodes swell for tons of reasons. Many swell because they are fighting inflammation elsewhere in your body.

Where are you talking on your body? I had one poking out under my collar bone the size of a golf ball. Really the only thing you can do is pressure your doc and say you are freaking out - so how can they test it. Or learn to let it go since you have been told three times that it isn't a problem.

this one was in my breast that the biopsy was done

I guess my reason for post was has anyone else had a Breast lymph node swell after biopsy and if so how long was it swollen for

Higher up on the breast somewhat by underarm if that makes sense

Once lymph nodes swell, they can remain swollen for months or even years. Following dental surgery, I had an enlarged lymph node for two years. It drove me wild, but my dr was very reluctant to biopsy it. I think it went away once I finally quit worrying and forgot about it. When I worry about a symptom, it seems to persist. Go figure.
