Hi everyone,

I’m sure it was somewhere on BC forum when I found a link to another website which was measuring the risk of recurrence

. You had to put you tumour size, grade, age, etc. I looked it at the very beginning of my cancer adventure not having enough info I wasn’t able to complete. Now I cannot find it again! Please help - I had my mastectomy and the results now. About to decide whether or not want to take Tamixifen.

Thank yo

Hi Anna. I'm not sure which link you saw. One I've referred to, which isn't really a "recurrence" tool, is Predict. "Predict is a tool that helps show how breast cancer treatments after surgery might improve survival rates. Once details about the patient and their cancer have been entered, the tool will show how different treatments would be expected to improve survival rates up to 15 years after diagnosis. This is based on data from similar women in the past. It is important to note that these treatments have side effects which should also be considered when deciding on a treatment."

Make sure you read through the "About" information so you understand its intended use and limits.
