right now I’m just receiving taxol. I almost find it worse than AC. Anyone else have this issue? Even though I had the nulesta with every AC it did not cause any bine pain. Then when I began taxol prob around the second treatment is wgen I noticed severe joint, muscle and bone pain. They prescribed me Percocet and then decided to stop all together ! I was so mad as I was in pain a few days after taxol. Finally went to see my primary and she prescribed tramadol 25mg every 8 hours. I had to take two 50 mg of tram to lessen the pain just a bit. So I had to call the in call dr over the weekend and he sent over 10 Percocet till Monday. So finally my primary wanted to see me about meds because I’m sure she seen the Percocet being called in over the weekend. She is finally prescribing something to help with the pain. They are telling me if I didn’t have pain with nukesta then I shouldn’t have with the taxol. I have heard so many women having issues with pain from the taxol. Everyone is diff. Made me upset like I was pill seeking when I have never been a pain pill taker

    Missmom79- Sorry you are in so much pain. I found Taxol much more tolerable than AC. I was achy for about 2 days after Taxol infusions but I found walking and light exercising really helped.

    i will and have been trying to walk everyday. It’s been hard because of winter and we live in New York. We do have memberships at the ymca however, I walk around the track there. We are planning on going tonight. I may have to take a Percocet the be able to mange the pain cuz I know last time my back hurt horribly.

    Some women have success with a generic Claritin every day. It probably couldn't hurt to give it a try. (They always stress *not* Claritin-D.)

    I also found taxotere easier than AC.

    And I'm one of the 'true believers' that Claritin works for bone pain. Don't know why, don't know how - but it was miraculous. You can take continuously, but if not, be sure to start a day of two before the infusion and continue for several days afterwards. Good luck going forward.
