Does pain in the original tumor = pain in metastatic sites?

Just another one of those thoughts that my recurrence anxiety plagues me with. I know some of us experienced pain with our original tumor - me included. Not many, but some. Also, it seems that some people experience pain with metastasis and some do not. Interested to see if there is any relationship here and if anyone has experiences either way.

When people have bone mets, they sometimes can have pain. Mets to organs have symptoms more dependent on which organ is affected.
