Cold caps

Hi - I am new here. Has anyone had success with cold caps? I’ve been doing research and wondering if you are able to save/keep 50% of your hair, does the other 50% grow back in the same texture and basic color?I ask because I read that when your hair falls out it may come back a completely different color and texture.

Brooke - if you go to the "search" section on the left, you will find tons of posts about cold capping. Also go to 'all topics' and 'treatments' and 'chemo and you'll find a lot of relevant threads.

I didn't cold cap & lost all the mostly grey hair on my head. The hair came back brown w/very little grey and was more curly for awhile, then straighter.
