Scared I have IBC

Hi. I'm now officially post menopausal and is good health generally but have noticed I'm much more anxious these days. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that my bra was way too tight( boobs have gotten bigger with menopause). I had red marks on both sides. New bras with no wires. But on my left breast , closer to the rib area the red mark hasn't faded. It's itchy and uncomfortable. My breast feels weird. It feels like I have an itchy bruise and I can't abide the feel of any fabric against my skin.

I have an appointment with my ob/gyn very soon plus an annual physical. But I'm losing my mind and my stomach is churning. There's also a feeling of numbness along my shoulder blade.

It's not likely that it's IBC. You can try to move your appointment up or maybe see a dermatologist. Otherwise you could see your PCP for an anti-anxiety med while you wait for the gyn.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate your reassurance. I am trying my best to be positive and using my faith to help me. You are right about anxiety. It’s so hard to control and makes everything feel worse.
