Brown Spot Now Growing Scabs On It

Hello. I'm a 46 yr old female & this is my 1st time writing on a forum regarding breast issues.
I started growing a brown Spot less than an inch away from my left nipple about few months ago. It grew to full size. Little smaller than a dime. While doing my self breast exam a few nights ago, I discovered small scabs all over it. It looks diseased. It wasn't like that last month. I check my breasts every month and also the skin in a magnifying lighted mirror
I don't know if I should be concerned. Has anyone heard of this? Thank you all.

I recommend you see a dermatologist. It sounds like acitinic keratosis, which a derm doc would likely treat by freezing before it became more dangerous.
