Xeloda for early-stage TNBC

Anyone out there taking Xeloda (aka capecitabine) for early stage TNBC? The only forum I could find was for Stage IV, but I'd love to be able to chat with other early stage survivors.

I am on Xeloda while I am in radiation. I am Er/pr + her 2 - My understanding is that xeloda followsthe Her2 rather than the Er/pr. So far it has been a few weeks and no side effects

    Hi G1973!

I can't imagine doing this while doing radiation so sending good thoughts your way!

I just finished cycle 2 (I'm on my off week), and cycle 2 is when my side effects really started in earnest. During cycle one, I had some tingling in my hands and feet, and some minor nausea, but that was it. Cycle 2 - UGH! I have really bad luck with side effects, though (yay me! / sarcasm), so I've been getting some of the rare ones (excessive tearing, constantly runny nose, lightheadedness, bleeding gums) on top of the standard excessive fatigue, hand-foot syndrome, and gastrointestinal issues. Again, UGH!

I meet with my onc team tomorrow - hopefully I'll get a short break, or a dosage reduction.
