Depends on why they want the CT. Personally I would start with examining what you are feeling with US. A CT may see the lump but can't tell you what's going on inside it. If its scarring or some other benign entity a follow up CT is overkill. If on the US it looks malignant and it appears attached to the chest wall it can be biopsied under US and then go to an MRI to see its full extent. I don't recall ever recommending a CT for anything in the breast or surrounding area.

It could be recurrent DCIS or it could be a second primary either DCIS or perhaps an unrelated IDC. You won't know until it is biopsied.

    Hello,

I assumed by now you got the biopsy done. Yes, a lump and calcification is what I have from Mammogram and US. Biopsy is only way to confirm if they are cancer. Calcification can sometimes be benign but lumps unlikely. We can only hope for the best.

Hey all! Been busy lately getting ready for my breast surgeon appointment coming up Tuesday. Quick question, was anybody else still bleeding almost 3 weeks after biopsy? I have about a nickle sized spot of blood in my bra almost every day. Doesn't seem right to me.

If you're constantly moving so the skin can't close, I guess it's possible But I think I'd call the doc/nurse about the bleeding.
