Burning after core biopsy???

I had 5 core biopsies performed today on my left breast. I know one of the sites they had issues with a hematoma. I am starting to get a little sore, but it burns more than pain.? I am taking Tylenol extra strength and icing 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off as instructed. I am pretty bandaged up on that side of my breast, but you can already see the skin is black with brushing underneath the bandages? Is this just a normal process with this kind of procedure?

    I think most of us have pretty impressive bruising with the biopsies. I’m guessing your numbing is just completely wearing off. If you start getting a lot of swelling (like you might be getting a big hematoma) contact your doctor, but for now it sounds pretty normal to me.

    sorry this has happened to you. I had a core biopsy and had no pain and no bruising. At least, if I had bruising it was so insignificant I don't remember it.

    My core biopsy was higher up though more in my axilla region. My surgeon did it, he's extremely experienced at it and he typically takes a lot of care. So I'm not sure what to think of the result you've had? I'd definitely be phoning the doctor and asking

    Did you take any medication that my cause bruising/bleeding? Like Naproxen? Some medication can cause extra bruising if taken before your procedure, although it's normal to have some bruising.
