I've been seeing plastic surgeon every week or two to get saline injections in to Expanders. Doc thinks soon we will switch out Expanders for the silicone implants. Has anybody had it done this way and if so how long was the recovery before you can go back to seated job?

After my exchange, I went back to work in a few days.

If there is no major pocket work, I agree with OnTarget. If major pocket work, it would be a few weeks! I had two exchanges, one with fat grafting, and no meaningful pain. When I had the last surgery, pocket work, wowza!!! That was not comfortable for a few weeks!

Good luck! I hope it goes smoothly and you are pleased with your results!

thank you Simone RC and On Target. Well that gives me hope the recovery time is a whole lot better than the masevtomy. I think the PC said the left breast is higher than the right and the right is turning to the right instead of front . right breast was radiated in 2014 so skin very thin. Not sure what pocket work is. We are not doing fat grafting.
