Wednesday Weigh In
Comments

Still stuck at the same...not good given Thanksgiving and then I'm in San Diego next week on business...
Happy Thanksgiving to all. TT
-
144.7. Up 0.6 pounds.
-
I had creeped up again to a number I hated so I got busier this week and am down 1.6. I am using the amazing method of eating less. Hahaha. I eat one big meal and one small meal and that’s it.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone
-
down 1.6......I've been religious about recording every single mouthful of food & exercising more to get back into the range if I've gone over (thank you Fitbit!). I know there will be lapses with the holidays but I'm making sure to stay in the restricted calorie range on every day that there is not an eating event!
-
in San Diego , trying to find a day without an eating event— perfect Ruth
Was down .5 yesterday before I left on this trip
-
Mmm, eating events....
144.7, no change.
-
Back to what I was the day before Thanksgiving - after an alarming increase in between. I see my family doc next week, so perhaps that will help me resist temptation.
-
Wren I’m with you- going to the doctor makes me look in the truth window- my appointment is Dec 17. I was surprised that my weight was the same after Thanksgiving ‘s glory. Still need to lose but glad I didn’t gain!
-
up 2 - bad week!
-
Came home from a Thanksgiving road trip weighing my highest number ever on the scale. After exercise at the gym on Thursday and a round of golf yesterday I was down 3 lbs this morning. Which means I am less bloated from the salt in fast food.
Now for the challenge of the Christmas season.
-
142.4. Down about 1 and a half pounds.
-
no change
-
I went to a dinner concert Saturday and have been eating ever since, so back up 2 pounds. I am mad at myself and MUST start logging again tomorrow!!!!!
-
I'm steadily gaining. Slowly, but definitely in the wrong direction. It's been really gray here and DD commented on how dark our house is. It's been sprinkling but they're predicting real rain for the rest of the week. I think I'm eating to compensate. Or perhaps to put on fat for my hibernation.
-
stayed the same this week
-
My doctor's scales confirmed my weight gain
-
I am thinking I will return to WW along with hordes of other overweight folks in January. Every time I rejoin I'm older and heavier! My inspiration is a women at a party last week. My goal is not so much to get back to goal weight but to lose 10 lbs. Goal weight would require losing 20 lbs. I need to begin some downward momentum. Saying this "aloud" is good!
-
So I had my annual visit with my Primary care last week, and he noted I am up 7 lbs since last year. This is the same doctor that didn't say anything last year when I was down 20 lbs from the year before (thanks to weight watchers)! I was trying WW online for the last few months, but recently dropped it as I wasn't keeping track of anything. Since breaking my shoulder in September I've been going a little too heavy on the carbs and sugars, but it's time to get back on track. After the holidays!
-
Same for past 3 weeks...which is up two from 4 weeks back...TT
-
Skipping up and down, but mostly up. Ugh!
-
142.4. Same. Ohhhhhh we have some delicious eating events coming up!
-
down .7, but still up 2 from a couple weeks ago
-
I'm so steady to get back to self care. Been weeks of taking care of everyone but myself. I know I've gained weight over the holiday. MO appointment Monday morning which means I'll have to see how much I've gained😮
-
I'm not weighing until we finish off the leftovers. I'm pretty sure dressing, mashed potatoes, and gravy aren't listed on any weight loss program!!!!
-
-
LOL, Ruthbru and Vargadoll. The nice thing about eating Christmas dinner at my sister's house is not bringing home a lot of leftovers. I leave most of what I cook and what she cooks at her house, since she has more people to eat the leftovers.
I have been weighing and am at an all-time high. BP and blood sugar levels are warnings that I must be more committed to eating for weight loss as well as pleasure.
Wishing us all good Wednesday weigh ins in 2020!
-
Fingers crossed that 2020 is the year for many good Wednesday check-in's!
-
-
I haven't been weighing regularly, but I did weigh after all the Christmas company was gone - I am up 8 lbs since the beginning of October. Yikes! Getting ready to go on our 3 month RV trip down south, last year we brought the scale, but that was silly as we hardly ever used it
Trying to finish the rest of the Christmas goodies before we leave, just can't seem to throw out cheescake! Luckily last year on our trip we mostly ate sensibly, so I'm hoping to not gain this trip.
-
pat01 me too - same weight gain, same inability to throw away leftove cheescake. Here’s to a slimming 2020! X
