MissouriCatLady, thanks for your concern. There are no bushfires around here but there are in the country and in other states. We had a heatwave but I think temperatures will be more moderate for a while.

I have to lose some weight. They had a clip on the news this week about reducing your recurrence and it really makes a difference, so yes, once the fudge and cookies are gone!

I don't remember specifically but I probably stayed home, which is what I usually do.

It it was cold here (of course), and the town sponsored fireworks, hot cider etc. it was very fun and meaningful too.
The next person remembers how worried everyone was that all the computers would go down when the century turned.
