I am 30 years old and had a mammogram due to discharge out of my right nipple. It's yellow and sometimes "pieces" come out if that makes sense?? I am so worried. They found a mass on my breast but they couldn't find it through ultrasound so they are sending me to a breast specialist. The leaking is sporadic. Not when I'm squeezing or anything and I'm so worried I can barely sleep. What are these pieces coming back it of my nipple and I just know it's going to be terrible news. My apt isnt for another

Dwils, I had discharge from my nipples for many years, beginning in my mid 20’s and lasting through menopause. My pituitary was tested...no problems. My niece & sister have the same thing, also no significant issues. So, while it is scary, it might not be anything significant. It’s good you have an appointment and in the meantime take some comfort in that many women have nipple discharge without any pathology. (Btw, by the time I got dxed w breast cancer, I was long past menopause and hadn’t had nipple discharge for about 10 yrs.

Its only the right nipple where they saw the mass on the mammogram and I'm wondering why they couldn't see anything through ultrasound obviously something is going on. Thanks so much I'm hoping it's nothing.

My lump was not seen on mammogram nor ultrasound. I did not realize that could happen until It happened to me. Easier said than done, but try to keep yourself busy for the next week. And let us know the outcome, please.
