THC, Hemp Oil, and CBD Oil
Hi Group,
I’m posting for my mom, she went through chemotherapy for breast cancer and beat it several years ago. Now she is battling a cancer in her hip bone and a bone above her eye behind her eyebrow. Doctors suggested she begin chemo immediately because surgery is not an option on the cancer behind her eye. She is very upset about beginning chemo again and she’s been very depressed after her first session last week. My main point or question is, has anyone in this group taken CBD, Hemp or THC oil to help during the chemo? How much is recommended for her to take and has anyone tried the capsules over just the oil? I am hoping it could help her with anxiety, depression, nausea, etc.
thank you and prayers to everyone.

I used delta-8 to help offset the chemo nausea. Delta-8 is not psychoactive. Delta-9 is the THC that gives you the cannabis high. I used many different cannabinoids during treatment to get me through chemo. CBD, CBN, CBG, THC A, delta-8, and delta-9. I also took a lot of RSO—Rick Simpson oil. Never used hemp oil. Those cannabinoids are avail in some California dispensaries. I do not live in California but had access to these very helpful cannabis products. Delta-8 was my holy grail. If you are in Cali I can tell you the brand that makes these products. They aren’t easy to come by other places. PM me if you want brand info. RSO should be easier to find. But, it’s strong so use sparingly. It’s great for sleep.
I’m sorry for your moms diagnosis. -
If you have 10 minutes, could you please take our survey on Medical Cannabis?
We really appreciate hearing your opinions.
Many thanks!

I have consumed cannabis for a number of years. THC is the psychoactive component of cannabis and is a cannabinol. THCA and CBD are non-psychoactive cannabinols.I have had to do a lot of self experimenting to find what works for me. The experiments did not always go well 😂, but never mind. Cannabis plants are usually either Sativa or Indica. Within these two main categories are, literally, hundreds of strains. Legally available products also list percentages of THC/CBD or CBDA. In the case of oils, edibles, tinctures and capsules , suggested dosing is usually available. I live in California and have access to several excellent dispensaries.
My experience is based on personal consumption. I use cannabis for symptom relief, not for curative purposes. I will be happy to answer any questions, but everyone has a different tolerance and reacts differently, but if I can be of any help..
