Anyone with mets diagnosed in infraclavicular node?

Options

Long story short, right breast multi-typal (DCIS, LCIS, IDC, ILC, ICC) stage IIB, 5 cm tumor, SLN 3 mm tumor, E+, BMX in 2009 (left prophylactic), chemo, clear ALND, refused radiation, aromatase inhibitors for a bit over 4 years.

Celebrated 10 years cancerversary this past October.

Had shoulder pains since July, getting worse and worse - opposite side not the one with cancer. Finally got to the doctor in October - couldn't do it earlier as I had to have both eyes operated for cataracts.

BS ordered bone scan - clear. Multiple XRays, diagnostic frozen shoulder. Got steroid shot in shoulder, started physical therapy, started moving shoulder. Saturday I finally was able to pull my shoulder back and out popped a swollen area where the infraclavicular nodes are. Didn't notice before because shoulder was abducted. It's about 1 1/2" diameter, not really soft but not really hard, fixed, it hurts only if I press on it.

Called my BS this morning, got back to me in the afternoon, he's getting me in to see him tomorrow morning (was in surgery all day couldn't get me in today).

Are there ladies out there who got recurrence in infra or supraclavicular nodes?

The pathology at the BMX showed the left breast very large area of atypical hyperplasia. In my BS's words, "it was getting ready to turn nasty too".

I'm freaking out.

bump. I’m vested in this topic. I’m 8 years out of a stage 1 er+ pr+ node neg diagnosis. Currently have an enlarged lymph node under my collarbone opposite of cancer side. Got a flu shot and noticed it two days later. Praying it’s a reaction to the shot. Going back to the doctor on the 10th.

Did you get in to see the BS? Hoping all was clear. Let us know what he/she said.

Yes, I got in to see him. I'm scheduled to have a CT scan on the 11th then see him again on the 7th of January. I'll let you know what the CT scan says.

Mine wasn’t a recurrence or metastases. My initial diagnosis was small multi-focal tumours with metastasis to the axillary and infraclavicular nodes. I had a double mastectomy and removal of the axillary and infraclavicular lymph nodes (levels 1, 2 and 3) with all removed nodes (20) being cancerous and was staged as 3C. I then went on to have chemo, radiation, herceptin and neratinib for her2 positive. I started treatment 3 1/2 years ago and completed 12 months ago. I developed lymphedema to my arm and trunk almost immediately due to the extensive lymph node removal and radiation to the area but so far remain NED. I initially went to the doctor because I thought the muscles under one arm looked bigger than the other. This turned out to be the cancerous lymph nodes. While I was undergoing the diagnosis process I developed pins and needles and tingling down my arm and was losing the use of it. This all resolved after the surgery but it left me with lymphedema.
