Cathy..love those pictures. So inviting.
This time of year, here
-
Thanks, Lisa! They are colourful.

This is a picture I took in June 2018. Swam with these genital giants. Was one of the best experiences of my life. Want to get through all this Chemo so I can get back to the BLUE...
-
RadQueen, great photo! I hope you can get back to the whales soon.
-
Oh Wow! I cannot even imagine what peace that brought to your soul - beautiful!!!
-
Lisa, beautiful and colorful photo. I'm leaving tomorrow for nine days and visit my family downstate for Thanksgiving.
RadQueen, beautiful photo and a fantastic experience. I hope your chemo goes well and does it's job.
-
Nancy, I hope you have a good trip. Happy Thanksgiving!!
-
Thanks Cathy. You have a great weekend.
Nancy
-
Thanks, Nancy. I hope I can get more rest because I'm really tired.
-
Thanks, it was a wonderful experience. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.
OK here's another one...
-
RadQueen, that scene looks pleasant.

First time I peeked at this thread and I was so amazed to see some of your photos. But the cockatoo photo and your experience, absolutely thrilled me. As you can see from my avatar, Blanche is our dear cockatoo. She had transformed our lives (and house unfortunately lol) and to have had your experience with them in the wild where they belong, would have been amazing! As would swimming with the whales. So glad I peeked.
-
TB90, thanks for your comments and it's lovely that you have your own cockatoo.
-
-
Thanks Lisa. A real Thanksgiving bouquet.
-
a Thanksgiving bird? A nutmeg
-
Lisa, beautiful photo and very colorful.
Rad, another great photo.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Love those birds. So beautiful. I have never seen or heard of them before.
-
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
-
Nancy, they love my son's back yard
-
Lisa, I found out these birds are from Asia. Interesting how they ended up in the US. I love the intricate marking on the male I am guessing.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you Cathy. I hope you are getting caught up on your rest.
Nancy

Thanks, Nancy. I am really exhausted after a very busy week. I hope to rest over the weekend.
How is your trip going?

Lisa, what a gorgeous photo and place. I would love to see that in person.
-
I got home from downstate on Sunday night and hit the ground running on Monday. I have one more month of this photo competition and because of my lung issues and other issues I was not able to go to many forest preserves and have stuck close to this one I frequent often which is not too far from my house. Here are a few pics I got from yesterday. Our weatherman said that today and yesterday were the only sunny days since Halloween. So even trying to catch a sunset has been difficult here.
-
Lisa, very pretty lights!
Nancy, it's nice to hear from you. They are very interesting photos and the sequence too.
-
Thanks Cathy. Here are a couple more sunsets from today. The sky drastically changes colors before the actual sunset.
-
-
Nancy, wow! That sun on the water is amazing.
Hi Feelingfeline. It's nice to see you here.
-
Thanks ladies. I appreciate your comments. I had to submit these photos much earlier than expected and had planned on getting more pics tomorrow. That won't be happening.
Cathy, are you referring to photo #1 or #2 in my last post. Photo #2 is actually ALL sky. It was amazing with the sky lighting up in this fiery orange.
I have had another death of a close family member so I have to leave again. I was supposed to have a CT of my chest on Tues. but thankfully was able to move it to tomorrow. I have never had anything on Saturdays but I am sure grateful they offer them in cases like this. The funeral and everything is on Monday. I just found out my Mom's sister died early this morning. We were close. This is a tough one and will be for my Mom. Out of a family with nine siblings my Mom is now the last one at 94 yrs old. This is the third death we have had in our family just in the last few weeks.
Here are a couple more photos I am submitting.
