Estring (vag. estrogen) question

Not sure if this is the right spot to post this since most are posting "anti-hormonal" on the hormonal board....

if anyone is using vaginal estrogen, specifically the ESTRING, can you share your experience.

I just received a dummy ring to see if it would be comfortable and that thing looks HUGE. Reminds me of how i felt the first time i used a tampon.

    I haven’t, but did you ever use a diaphragm? I was surprised how big they were too. I’ll bet they are kind of the size of the spring on a diaphragm, where it stays in place high up. One thing I never thought about-I have tiny hands with short fingers and had problems reaching to remove them, or those sponges were the same way.

    Nope; never used a diaphragm.

    Gyn-nurse said most of her gals come in and have it inserted and removed for them.

    update: I've used the demo ring today. Not as horrible as I thought. Whew.
