Wednesday Weigh In

I'm with Ruthbru. Need to get serious.
-
We all need to get serious! Winter is coming. Christmas is coming. Holidays are coming. I am down 1lb this week at 157lbs. I want to be 135lbs! Getting serious starting now
-
Okay, we should now report how each of us is going to make our own selves more accountable..... I am going to log off here and right on to my Fitbit app. I will log my weight and food intake every single day (even when I am bad) until I have lost 10 pounds.
Off I go!
-
I will go back to a sugar free diet and stop cheating every now and again. Or, actually, every day. And will weigh myself each week which I haven’t been doing consistently until I’m down 9 lbs.
-
OMG, you guys are getting serious! I have been serious, skipping dinner a lot as I didn't have anyone to have it with on a long business trip. I lost 2 kilos then gained back one since getting back but still on track to tell my MO tomorrow that I still weigh the same as I did six months ago (and actually 12 years ago as well!).
It's worth getting serious, guys.
-
Skipping dinner always makes me lose weight too. Perhaps I should just have a meal between instead of lunch or dinner.
-
Okay, I have lost 2 pounds since faithfully recording my food intake. Tomorrow night I am going to a party where many hor'derves will be served. THAT will be a challenge!!!!
-
I I need to be more serious to! I think I have lost because all my jeans are loose. The weather finally got cold and I was dreading trying on my winter pants. Some of them are to big! The black pair of Levi's were so tight last year I felt like a popped can of biscuits fit! I was so surprised. Doctor appointment tomorrow and I will force myself to look at my weight 🙄
-
Ha Varga, I know what you mean! I often tell the nurse to keep it to herself. Good job Ruth on being down two.
So I weighed myself this morning. I was four pounds less than I was when I was at the doctors two Fridays ago. That weight was recorded at the end of the day. So, where is a fair starting point? Somewhere in between?
-
Depends on where you want to end up. If you wanted to lose 9 pounds after that doctor visit, then you only have 5 to go!!!
-
-
146.2. After surgery, I went from 150 to 140 for some reason. Just didn't feel hungry again until I went down to 140. Then, chemo brought me to 148. My last chemo was a month ago, and my weight went down slightly.
-
Up 2 this week and that’s after getting serious. I need to get double serious this week, or I’ll need to buy new clothes
-
I took a break from seriousness this weekend for two birthday parties. I need to get with the program again so I can be down before the holiday feasting takes me up.
-
No weight loss for me either. I was very bad at the party I went to last Thursday, and Friday I had a shingles shot which required two days of "comfort food". I was back to logging the food Sunday (it sure takes a lit less time to gain it than to lose it!). I better have a decrease to report by next week!!
-
Down .5 but that's 1 over where it should be. My weight varies as much as 3 lbs during the week. I don't know what causes the difference.
-
Same here Wren. Today’s weight showed +3 which seems like an insane amount to gain in a week. But I was down 4 from the doctor the week before. I hate this. I had a bizarre period also this month- a week of bloating and pain in my uterus and then only spotting for five days. Two months prior was a flood. Menopause or Tamoxifen or both? I used to rely on menstruation to help relieve some of that bloating- not this month! I had no sugar this week and did not overeat.
-
145.3, down 1.
-
Down this week at last. I’ve lost track of how many lbs I’ve gained or lost each week recently - today I weigh 155lbs which is 20lbs “too much” but 5lbs less than where I was a few weeks ago when things seemed to be getting out of hand. I’ve been cutting down on carbs and doing more cycling/swimming which seems to help: makes me feel good too. I make sure I get my heart rate up to 120 for 7 minutes a day as I read somewhere that doing that could “zap” circulating tumour cells. Probably just a theory but it really seems to have helped my motivation. Keep it up everyone we can do this. Aiming to lose a bit more before Christmas and the dreaded photographs.
-
Back back on track and down 2 pounds.
-
Same as last week. Up 1 from yesterday. I'm wearing jeans that feel tight. Good motivator.
-
Same as last week...which is too high. I too make myself suffer at night in my too tight pants rather than changing to yoga pants to run around the house after work...I too think it is a good motivator. TT
-
144.1, down 1. My pants don't feel any looser.
-
Two pounds less than last week. Still want to lose 6 more. Yoyoyoyoy
-
I'm still hanging out between 135-139. I do that 4 pins bounce to! On a positive note when I went to my appointment the nurse said you've lost weight! Motivated me just a little more because someone noticed! That was before I got on the scales to!
-
up 1 at 156
-
I have been so good that I will be very mad if I'm not down tomorrow!!!
-
I seem to be gaining in anticipation of Thanksgiving. The brutal number will be known tomorrow.
-
Down 1.8......if I can manage to eat only ONE helping of everything tomorrow, I will consider it a Diet Success Day!
-
Up .5. I guess I think I need an extra fat cushion for tomorrow.
