Just bought a bottle of tumeric pills with bioperine and black pepper for absorption 1500mg, anyone else taking them? Tumeric is suppose to be good for breast cancer patients, but I want to make sure Its safe? They are made in the USA, non gmo, no fillers etc.

I take Turmeric. Ginger is also supposed to be one of the ingredients. It is helpful to reduce inflammation. I find that my joints are achy when I don't take it. My MO was on board with it when I told her I was taking it.

The most cancer-active part of tumeric is curcumin. You can also take pure curcumin for more of a bang. No more "bad hip" or "sore knee" since I've been taking it. Great to reduce inflammation.

Also check in with your doctor for safety as well on turmeric. As others mentioned, absorption is key when it comes to turmeric. Another option is to look for hydro-soluble forms that also absorb better.
