missed my anniversary

Tuesday was 11 years-- completely missed it! only realized it when I realized I have my bi-annual MRI in a couple of weeks--- I have one every 2 years along with an annual mammogram. Anyway, I like to acknowledge it here every year-- so grateful for another good year!!!

    Well -- that's wonderful. It's good to hear success stories. And it's good that you forgot about the date. (-: Today is my one year anniversary as far as finding the lump goes. My tumor sounds just exactly like yours, except mine was in the left breast. I am scheduled for a yearly MRI --- did you have MRI's yearly in the beginning? Do you think this will be a lifetime test? I don't like the MRI at all. Anyway, happy anniversary and many more.

    Hi Jessie

    I used to have an MRI each year- I then asked to change it to every other year--- I figured it would take something at least 2 years to grow--- I don't love the MRI but because I had ILC I know that I have to periodically have MRI"S since my bc did not shwo up on my mammogram 6 months before my dx. So I think the MRI i s the superior technology- and as long as my insurance will pay for it, I am going to do it every other year.... and I do it this week!

    Congrats on one year-- that is great-- and hopefully there will be decades more for all of us!!!!
