I am one month post op... is it normal to have lumps in the effected breast? If so, how long do they take to go away

This is likely scar tissue. I think massaging can help soften up the area but the hard spots linger quite a while.

I am 3 months past lumpectomy and have a large lump. I was told it was hematoma/scar tissue and told to massage it. My PS said it was because it was where the put my breast back together from the cancer being removed that it may never go away.

I am almost eight weeks post lumpectomy and bilateral oncoplasty and I have lumps from scar tissue everywhere I had sutures! The scar tissue feels like each individual stitch is still there, under each breast, up the middle incisions, and around both nipples. Plus the incisions still feel sensitive when I try to gently massage the scar tissue. My PS says this is all normal and should lessen over time, but it's somewhat uncomfortable and annoying.
