Hair loss on Tamoxifen

It's coming up on a year and I am still loosing a lot of hair on Tamoxifen. When I take a shower, I pull out an alarming clump from the drain, not to mention finding them everywhere. I have fine hair to begin with which makes it obvious. Any suggestions about how to deal with this? I don't want to do Rogaine, but I'm willing to try something else, something without a lot of chemicals.

I remember us getting dx just about the same time. I can say the hair loss was really bad too at the beginning. I started taking 10,000 units of biotin and that has helped. I I also tried some Monat samples and they helped. My dermatologist thought it was more the back to back surgery. Got some baby hair growing back, so trying to stay hopeful.

Have your vitamin D levels been checked recently? I have read if it is low it can cause hair loss. I started taking K2 with D3 because my level was low at 33. I have also read where stress, thyroid issues, anemia, and now lack of estrogen causes hair loss. Now, I keep it cut in chin length Bob. Good luck to you.
