1 month until biopsy was seen by pathologist

I had an excisional biopsy september 7th 2016. It says on report "this case was alloted to pathologist on October 5th 2016" and was signed out October 14th 2016.

Is this normal for biopsies to be seen by pathologist after such a long time? Would this at all effect the accuracy of diagnosis.

The diagnosis reads

-benign fibroadenoma (1.5 cm)

-Adjacent large dilated cystic duct present

-filled with debris and acellular fluid

-shows squamous metaplasia focally-benign

I have had persistent and increasing breast problems since this biopsy. I also found a hard immobile lump in breast recently and have questions if misdiagnosis on an excisional biopsy is possibly?
