yesterday I did a 3 month followup ultrasound . When the radiologist was going over sonogram results he told me at first he thought it was breast tissue but not sure now . He decided to schedule a core biopsy .which I have to wait for another 2 weeks due to he is going on vacation. But he did tell me when comparing the 2 sonogram the lump is more distinct more defined . What does that usally mean?Does it mean the shape changed the size is bigger . Any input would be great. .

    Dear Mamabear,

of course it might be something harmless, but in my opinion, this radiologist is not a doctor to have confidence in. Please do NOT wait another two weeks. If possible, go and see a breast specialist as soon as possible. Otherwise you won't find peace. A long wait for answers is excruciating.

    Love and best wishes, G

Mamabear, ist's me again. Maybe I was overreacting. I didn't mean to make you anxious. I just don't like the way your doctor speaks to you and then lets you wait. But in fact, two weeks won't change much to the results ...

Gudrun, this is not an emergency. I’m not sure i understand your problem with the doctor is because it sounds perfectly reasonable, and that he still leans towards it being benign but would feel better to go ahead and biopsy. This is the whole point of why short term follow ups are done. If any change is seen on something that looks benign they biopsy it. Two weeks is no big deal medically.

Yes, Melissa. I was kind of overreacting as I said before. I'm sorry for that.
