The ball is rolling. Just had my first team meeting and if it was not real before it got real fast!

My "pearl" is invasive micropappillary carcinoma, 1.9cm, er+/pr+ and her2+, grade 2.

I am doing a repeat breast MRI next week with pain meds due to a failed earlier attempt and a flared rib.

All pre-treatment appointments have been scheduled too and we are getting a 2nd opinion Oct. 29. My port goes in Nov. 1. So, should start not long after that.

I will do chemo, surgery, herceptin solo, then hormones for 10 years.

I am holding it together somewhat. It is just so real now.

    Ugggggg....repeat breast MRI today at noon. Got pain meds (norco), called all my prayer warriors to direct their positive, strong thoughts toward me during that time.

    Hoping I can do this...

    I DID IT!! Thanks for the warm wishes!!

    Whew!! I took Norco 10/325 about an hour before scheduled MRI. I also had the same tech and she remembered my issue and padded differently. My hubby also came with me. It was a winning combination.

    Now to wait for the results.

    Got thru that breast MRI but now they have a suspicious mass in my left breast.

    Initial dx was right breast and my little pearl is the only thing in the right breast.

    The left breast showed nothing on mammogram and as such was not included in any of this recent diagnostic work up.

    So, next Tuesday I go for an ultrasound and if that correlates with MRI they will do a biopsy right then.

    That was a huge punch in the gut.

    sweetie you will get thru this we are here for you and know how you feel it is a lot but doable. msphil idc stage2 0/3 nodes 3mo chemo before and after Lmast got married Yes we were planning our 2nd marriages when diagnosed then rads for 7wks and 5yrs on Tamoxifen

    Ladies - did rlm and msp actually delete their posts?

    Or are these more "phantom" deletes that have been happening? There are several occurences again in the last 3 or 4 hours.
