Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
Weighed the same as last week. Went back to work yesterday. I’m forced into intermittent fasting, as I leave for work at 7:00 and don’t have a break until 10:45, my first meal of the day. We will see if it brings results.
-
eighed the same as last week - I’be been doing more excercise, and stuck to the intermittent fasting, and have also given up refined sugar for September so I’m hoping for better results next week.
-
down .5 ...met my Monday goal on Friday! Happy Friday all. TT
-
I'm on vacation. Walking lots and lots, but eating lots too. I can only hope it will be a draw!
-
stayed the same as last week - but I’ve been sticking to my new regime and I’m definitely feeling fitter so I reckon i’ve increased muscle and lost fat!
-
I weighed at the gym on Monday morning and was dismayed to see I'm up 4 lbs over the weight I had been maintaining, which already put me in an overweight status. I have been cooking healthier meals since and losing some fluid. My wedding ring is a little loose now. I will be weighing today when I go to the gym.
Summer are always a challenge. We spend four months in northern MN, living in our 5th wheel camper and generally not eating as healthy as we do at home. It's tempting to have hot dogs or hamburgers for dinner. There are always high-calorie snacks at afternoon happy hour gatherings. Most of the time I resist indulging but not all the time.
In early October we will be heading home to Louisiana and those excuses will be gone.
-
Congrats TT and Scotbird!
I am on the train to a food festival but fortunately I've lost some weight beforehand so the damage can't be that bad
-
same as last week...since starting Tamoxifen have just stalled out...TT
-
Argh. I am so fat from vacationing and coming home to company. I have no excuses now so better have a better report for next week!
-
I’ve lost 4lbs this week after being quite strict and doing plenty of exercise. I’ve been inspired to get my heart rate above 120 for at least 7 mins each day to squash those pre cancer cells or whatever it’s supposed to do! Also I’ve been trying out various tactics of intermittently fasting, Keto diet etc. Just anything that seems to be a good way to lose some weight.... I’m now down to 150 so I’ve lost 10 pounds in about 6 weeks and want to lose quite a bit more as I’ve really gone off the rails over the summer and have to get back on track for good
-
Great job ScotBird. I have nothing to report as I didn’t even get on the scale today. But my work clothes aren’t fitting well. Boo.
-
Stuck at the same...
-
I have been MIA for months! How has that much time gone by??? I have never been so busy....not in my entire 54 years! Anyway, happy to report that I'm holding my own and havent gained. I had a MO appointment on Monday and was so afraid I had gained. I didn't even look at the scales! On the flipside...I havent lost any either. Time to get focused again!
-
I am down from last week (thank goodness!!).
-
Up 2lbs to 152 this week. It was my daughter’s birthday on Sunday. There was a lot of cake left on Monday - I was at home all day and I kept going back for one more very thin sliver of cake! I must’ve done that about 10 times! I could’ve have just eaten a quarter of the cake oops.
-
Scotbird- if theres left over cake I have a tendency to "straighten it up" you know....make sure that its evenly cut...hahaha! I eat so much I would be embarrassed if anyone saw me!
-
I had steamed veggies (frozen) at a restaurant last night instead of one of the potato options. I'm committed to making more healthy food choices in the goal of loosening my jeans waistbands.
-
up 2lbs this week
-
still the same...
-
Ugh! Up 1.5 lbs.
-
I’m up 4lbs - and I was doing so well - don’t know what happened (actually I do know but I’d rather not say). Bother
-
Up .5. I think chocolate may be to blame.
-
I just got home from another trip. Now, I have NO excuses until Thanksgiving!!!!!
-
I'm at an all time high. Must lose some lbs to get back to previous overweight.
-
This is a terrible time of the year for me. My birthday followed by Halloween followed by DH's birthday, then Thanksgiving and Christmas. Talk about a special occasion every week!
-
Glad to hear we are all enjoying life so much, blessings first! I too am struggling with just maintaining...and have week after week of family/business trips/holidays ahead. Oh, can I lose 10 pounds before next week's high school reunion? TT
-
TT, how was the reunion?
I’m still stuck in the same spot. I am glad I’m not up, as I’ve been indulging in homemade chocolate chip cookies all week.
-
Despite blooming up +4.5 over the weekend reunion, actually down .5 from last Wednesday...it helped that DH left on a business trip at 6am Monday morning, so have been on a food detox/extra exercise all week.
Still need to lose 5 more before my Nov 12th MO appointment or else will be up for the 6 months....TT
-
I HAVE to get serious!!
-
Ruth, You are not alone, my friend.
