Long indentation behind nipple. Anyone else??

Hi! Last night I found a long indention in the middle of my breast that cuts across horizontally, almost as if my breast has 2 lobes inside. I have no idea how long it's been there. My nipple has been hurting a bit if I put pressure on it. There are no outward signs of anything looking differently with my breast though.

I had a small lump last year that was there for a while but the doc wasn't concerned. I changed my diet and lost 85 lbs, going from a 42G bra size to a 36DD. Now the lump is gone. I have nursed 4 kids for a total of 6 years and have dense tissue.

I have a appointment in 2 weeks but in the meantime, has anyone had a weird indention like this before???

    Keep in mind that most breast changes are not related to cancer but, our general recommendation every time a new member describes changes in the shape or contour of the breast is to schedule an appointment with you primary doctor or gynaecologist, which we are happy you did!

    Hi EarthyMama916. It’s so strange to see your post and identify.

    I was diagnosed on September 25, 2019 with a second occurrence of Breast Cancer.

    The line I have is horizontal through the center of the nipple. In the mirror it looks like my breast is cut in half by a string inside it. I noticed it in June of 2019.

    I don’t want you to think I’m diagnosing you but may I suggest you ask your doctor if you need a Breast MRI or an Ultrasound in addition to a Mammogram? Particularly since you have dense breasts. Not all Breast Cancer shows up on a regular Mammogram.
