Good Morning Sunset!
Thinking of you today and praying that you are resting comfortably and enjoying time with your family.
Wishing a blessed week for you....

Hi Sunset, you are also on my mind.
I don't know where you live, but wouldn't it be great if the weather is cooling, fall is arriving and you can sit outside?
I am so looking forward to candy corn, pumpkins, falling leaves and beautiful cool evenings. Just not happening yet where I Iive..dealing with mosquitoes and biting flies and daily sweating. Ugh.

I'm still here!!!!!! I not only had a rough few weeks but I lost my passcode and couldn't figure out how to change it. But here I am!
I am bedridden, using a wheelchair when comfortable, I have Mets ohh, pretty much everywhere. Just had some on my CS zapped.
Otherwise , not even going to the hospital. Just hanging at home. Enjoying my friends as much as possible and making sure the kids are on the right path in in school. Part of that is not dying in the middle of the quarter.
Not the best life, but a life at least.
Beautiful Sunset

glad to hear from you , sunset.
That must be a lonely place to be in - after all everybody around is going to stay here keeping living.. hugs.
-
Sunset,
I think about you often, even though we've never met. I'm happy that you were able to chime in on the boards. Hope that you can get in that wheelchair some more and even get outside to enjoy fall with your kids.

Sunset,
So good to hear you feel up to being involved with loved ones and mobile (at least sometimes.) Glad you zapped a few more of those troublemakers, too.
Thinking of you and sending gentle hugs. Hope you enjoy a glorious fall color show in the coming days. An artist friend once described autumn light as looking “buttery.” Hope we all get some beautiful buttery days this month. Warmest wishes

So glad to hear from you. Oh, the torture of passwords! I’ve often thought of one of those password manager programs, but I’m too paranoid!
Glad you are getting to enjoy time with friends. We would all jump in a chair next to you if we could. Your kids are already on the right path because of having a great mom like you! But there’s always more work to be done bymoms, isn’t there?
-
So glad I popped in just in time to "see" your beautiful face, Sunset! Glad you are still here and enjoying your friends and family. I am sure you are zipping around in that wheelchair. Sending hugs and love. XO

sunset- so happy you’re up at times and engaged with family and friends!

Hello Beautiful Sunset.
Just thinking of you and was wondering how you were spending your days. You seemed to be a person to not just sit around..even in a wheelchair!
If you watch Netflix (or maybe it is Amazon Prime) one of my favorite shows is Poldark..a PBS series. Oh my gosh, romance, battles, lost loves, evil guys..has it all. You will binge watch..trust me. Ha.
Here's hoping you are getting out in your wheelchair when you have good days and someone you trust to get you around. Maybe a gentle massage or a manicure? Those things can be done in your home.
I realize you are off treatment. I realize you have mets everywhere. But you are still here and alive. Enjoy new foods..enlist your friends to make you gourmet meals. Get your friends to buy you some fun jewely bling. Try to find your joy.
Love ya from afar.

Sunset, so many people here care about you and are thinking about you daily, even when you don't have a chance to come here. I hope you have some decent options to manage the pain and have the opportunity to move around a bit, no matter how small those movements are. Hugs and prayers.
-
Hi Stef,
Thinking about you tonight. Hope you are surrounded by hugs and love from friends and family. Sending hugs from your friends at BCO. ❤️

Stefanie, I try to picture you at home, with the people and things you love nearby. May you have many many good moments and blessings of life even now. You have a special place in my heart.

ABS- Thinking of you today, and everyday. Praying that you are comfortable...

-
sunset, thinking of you. Glad you are still participating in life.
-
You are in my thoughts, often, dear Sunset.

hi everyone. Sorry I've been gone so long. This is truly a beautiful thread for me to read. The only orange I'm seeing this fall is fire, so the weather is also still quite warm which I like. . I've had tond of visitors and few caretakers so I'm Never alone. It can be exhausting . That's kinda good I think, right?
Anyway, I'm so sorry about some of the recent downturns. But I've noticed people on hospice have a decent qol and often live longer than if they are chasing down another chemo.
Stefanie (just entered year #9
-
Stephanie, congrats on entering year 9! Major accomplishment. However no amount of time is ever enough.
-
Stefanie, it’s so good to see you posting. I’m not surprised you have so many visitors, because you are so awesome.
-
Hi Stef - Glad to hear from you. I second Shetland on your awesomeness! :-)

Sunset - thinking of you! I love winter sunsets when it's snowy outside... just love that time of day and the way the dimming light reflects off the snow.

Friends, I have sad news. I just learned that our dear ABeautifulSunset, Stefanie, passed away mid-November. She died at home surrounded by loved ones. I am so sad. She was a very lovely and special person. I feel so much for her family, and wish them strength to bear this.
-
Oh I am so sad to hear this. Thank you ShetlandPony for letting us know. My thoughts are with her family.
