Is this some weird form of neuropathy?

I'm almost one year PFC and a few months PF targeted therapy. I had mild neuropathy in my fingers and toes during chemotherapy, and would get pulsating tinnitus in my ears on day 14 of my infusion cycle, but most of my neuropathy has resolved.

A few months ago I noticed a sensation on the back of my thigh right above the back of my knee. I was gaining back the weight I had lost during chemotherapy and though the sensation was from the fabric of my jeans making contact again with the back of my leg, though I only felt this on one side.

It's been warm here recently though so I have been wearing shorts and I have come to realize that this sensation is present even when nothing is touching my leg in that area. Essentially, it feels like I have a numb patch there, only the skin isn't actually numb when I touch it. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

WC3--I can't say I've had that but I have had some weird sensations that someone on BCO said *might* have something to do with nerve endings healing? I get funny little itchy spots kind of random places on my body. It's not on the skin, and I scratch it and it goes away. And I do seem extra sensitive to some fabrics--like wearing some things kind of bugs me. Not sure at all what's going on, and it's not like it's interfering with my life or anything, but I do know that nerves heal very slowly, so in my head it has something to do with last year's chemo. (I'm on a similar schedule to you--was one year PFC August 3rd, finished Herceptin May 17th.)

    Hi Ingerp:

Thank you for your reply. I guess it could be a re directed sensation. I hadn't thought of that.
