Looking for a PS recommendation doe S=DIEP. I'm in N Florida

Hey all, I am looking for PS recommendations for DIEP. I'm in St. Augustine. I know that Mayo and Baptist South do not take my insurance. I have Florida Blue Select and financially have to stay in-network. I finish chemo this month, so hopefully I can have surgery in October.

I have not done DIEP, but know several who have used the very experienced DIEP surgeons, Dr Klein and Dr Lee, at UF Orlando Health. My PS in Tampa also refers her patients to them if that is the type of recon desired.

check out the DIEP 2018 Surgery thread. I think the original poster is from Florida. You might even post on this thread and the 2017 thread to ask for recommendations. I find that folks respond on threads that they have saved as favorites but may not see new posts.

Dr. Dejaloo at Moffitt in Tampa does breast reconstruction for oncology patients. She is also a microvascular surgeon. You might want to check her out.
