indentation in breast

Hi i am 45 years old and recently found an indentation in my left breast which is only visible when i raise my arm. i visited the doctor today who after a thorough going other said she could not feel a lump but could feel the indetation. I have been reffered to the breast clinic and should get an appointment in the next two weeks. I am absolutely terrified having only read horror stories about others with this condition.

    We are sorry that you find yourself here with these breast changes and the worry that accompanies them. We are glad that you reached out. Most here will say to not jump to the conclusion that this means cancer. You are taking the right steps and the waiting and the unknowing right now can be so very stressful. Now that you are on a path to leaning what this might be, you might want to take a break from the internet and reading others' stories that cause you more concern. Keep us posted on what you learn.
