Lita57 and Beautiful Sunset
Two years ago, almost to the day, we all came together and lit candles and said prayers for Lita. I remember it well. She did not think she would be here at Christmas time for her family. She not only saw that Christmas, she saw last Christmas too! What a miracle that was!
I was hoping that we could all come together and do it again! This time including our very dear sister Beautiful Sunset.
Let us all light a candle at 7pm tonight and send up our thoughts and prayers for these two beloved sisters and their families. Let's pray that their journey is smooth and pain free and that they are surrounded by their families. We can surround them with our thoughts, prayers and love!
Hugs and prayers,
Claudia

Count me in, Claudia. These two lovely ladies are a critical part of our community. Sending big hugs, JL

Thanks Jaylea!! So true! I went back to Lita's page and when I read it, it was like a stroll down memory lane. Bittersweet!
They both are valuable members of our community!

I'm in. Are we doing this on California time? I'm pretty sure they're both here in California.
Also, Lita came on to one of the threads about a week ago and said she had been hacked and was staying off the internet for a while. I'm hoping that's why we haven't heard from her. She really is a special woman. I love that she's been learning to swear in Italian (her heritage) including how to give the evil eye. You go, girl!
Hoping a is well with you, Lita.

That might be hard for those on the east coast! I know a lot of us who are having scans and/or treatments tomorrow morning(self included) . I will try hard to stay up. Should be doable for those two sisters.

Bigbhome- Wonderful idea !!!!!! Count me in. I had to Google time zones. California is Pacific Time Zone. I am in Illinois so I would light my candle at 9 pm and it will be 7 pm in California. Thank you for thinking of this.
Edited to say-- Can we post on other Threads???

Thanks Candy, I am hoping so many more will join us. I remember the first time we did this for Lita a couple of years ago and I thought it was absolutely the most beautiful thing I had ever seen on these boards! I just wanted to honor these women again and let them know how much love and support there is out there for them and all of us praying and thinking of them and offering up whatever we can offer them in their time of need.

Count me in.. what a beautiful and thoughtful thing to do.

I'm in. I agree with Trisha and hope Lita is just not posting because of computer hacking issues. Hopefully there is some friend who is in touch and can let us know.
-
I wonder if anyone has private messaged her. I get notifications through my email when I get one. We can let her know we are worried about her, and are missing her grace and wit on the boards.
-
Your right! I didn't think of that! Can someone on here please pm Lita and Sunset? I would, but I have never pm'd them before.
-
Beautiful Sunset and Lovely Lita, I have lit this candle in honor of you both. Sending you lots of gentle hugs, prayers and support for you and you're families! You both have given so much love and support here.

Lita:
You came to my defense and welcomed me after my first ever post on BCO. I will never forget your words of welcome and how this was so important to me at that point in time. I will be forever in your debt for this. I admire you for your grit and how you have placed others before your own needs. I feel privileged to have caught your attention and to have had the honor of exchanging messages. You are a special person to many. I love you and wish you the peace you seek.
BeautifulSunset: While I do not know you, I have read your posts and gained wisdom from them. Thank you for being there for your sisters.

Just reading through now and praying! Wonderful testimonies of the love between sisters. I’m privileged to be surrounded by so many wonderful people....lovers of souls.
Hope we hear from Lita soon....

I just started reading this thread so I didn't light a candle, yet. These two ladies are amazing warriors. Praying for them.
Big B I sent a PM to you. I guess you don't have results of your scan yet. Let me know how it went.

Thinking of you Lita and BeautifulSunset! Praying for pain free days and wonderful times with family and friends.

we have bid farwell to Lita and I admit I was searching through threads about our many sisters here and gone before. I found and realized we have not seen Sunset for 10 days. Thinking of you.
