Sores that don't heal after radiation

Just curious if anyone has/had any sores after RT that didn't heal? I had some pretty nasty "burns" from radiation that have all healed up. Last treatment was a little less than three months ago. I have one small area though, about the size of a pencil eraser, on my collar bone that still has not healed. It just keeps peeling. Anyone else experience this?

I would get that looked at. Basal skin cancers (not serious) can present that way. I have had several. Pink peely scaly spots.

Definitely get it checked by a dermatologist This is from Am Cancer I had a spot on the tip of my nose. Dermatologist took biopsy. Basal cell. It’s coming out next week.

Thanks, it does look like it could possibly be basal cell, but I didn't think it could occur that quickly, without the skin even healing first. Always thought that danger came down the road.

My experience is that medical professionals often under-predict how long it takes for things to heal. I'd suggest asking your radiation oncologist to look at it and, assuming it looks unremarkable, providing a treatment for it.
