I started taking Tamoxifen two weeks ago and feel like I’m going to lose my mind. I don’t have many of the side effects others are having but the irritability and general hatred towards everything is horrible. I tried to see if anyone else has had these side effects and I didn’t really see anyone post anything like this. Is there anyone out there that feels like me???

    That didn't kick in for me until about the fourth month. I was honestly afraid I'd hurt somebody, or my poor dog. I quit for about a month, but the rage stayed with me. Finally I decided the hell with it, and started taking the pills again. Surprise, the nasty moods disappeared after a few weeks. So I think you just have to re-boot once in a while. I've read of other side effects people have when they start, then they take a break, and it's not so bad when you start again. But everyone reacts differently.

    Thanks for the response. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I was just curious to see if this went away for anyone else that had these awful feelings. I’m trying to tuff it out but don’t know if I can. Thanks again!!!

    Yeah, Tamoxifen rage. My poor husband, lol. I’ve been using some anger management and meditation techniques as I find it only lasts a few days per episode but some do take additional meds to help.

    Yep, rage for sure. Mad about things that I don’t even know why I’m mad about lol I have a follow up appt with my MO tomorrow. I don't want to take additional meds but we’ll see. Thanks for the response. Nice to know that it’s just not me!
