Anyone diagnosed with adrenal gland mets?

    I am so sorry, Nel. I am fixing to change oncologists because we are moving to a new state....so I am praying for a good one. I have been blessed so far with a great doc who has been very helpful so I can only imagine how difficult this journey would be with a bad oncologist. Hopefully you can find another one.....

    Yes, your situation is unique and will require different protocols. I hope it is easy and painfree!!!!

    Adrenal biopsy today went well...pretty much pain free...now the waiting for results

    I have mets in both adrenals. Original DX was bone and liver. This spring's PET showed activity in spleen, adrenals and one abdominal cavity Lymph node. I have fairly extensive liver mets(had Y90 in right lobe May2018, which worked well). My MO and I are taking the systemic route with Doxil. Tolerating it very well and things looked stable on first PET. He did not offer me surgery, but I would probably not opt for it. I'm in the systemic school with such widespread mets. Best, MJH

    Duchess: adrenal gland biopsy came back TNBC PDL1 pos so I started on Abraxane plus Tecentriq. Scans scheduled later this month. This treatment definitely woke up my peripheral neuropathy so I am trying some new treatments for that...laser, topical Gabapentin, infrared treatments at home and foot soaks. Just trying to keep it from getting worse
